Koza Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Koza mobile application (listed on the App Store and Google Play as “Koza: Pregnancy & Baby Tracker”), referred to below as the “App”. The App is developed and operated by Forcell (“Forcell”, “we”, “Data Controller”). This policy explains what data the App collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what rights you have.

1. Our Privacy Principles

Local first. Everything that can stay on your phone stays on your phone. We only move data to a server when a feature genuinely needs it.
No sale of personal data. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and never your health data, to data brokers, insurers or advertising networks.
Minimum data. We collect only what a feature needs, and we say so here, feature by feature.
Health data is special. Pregnancy, reproductive and child-development data is treated as special-category data: processed only with your explicit consent and never used for advertising or profiling.

2. Data We Process

3.1 Data stored only on your device

Koza does not require an account or sign-in for its core features. The following data is created by you and stored locally on your device. It is not sent to our servers.

Profile: First name, community username, role (mother, father, companion), birth date, baseline weight
Pregnancy data: Last menstrual period, estimated due date, gestational age, pregnancy type and status, baby name(s) (special-category health data)
Health & wellness logs: Water intake, weight logs, kick counts, contraction timings, vitamin/medication schedules, appointment notes (special-category health data)

3.2 Data stored on our servers

The following data is needed for features that work across devices or with other people, and is stored on our encrypted backend:

Community content: Posts, comments, replies, likes and moderation flags you create in the forum
Support requests: Support tickets, bug reports, suggestions and the optional contact e-mail you provide

3.3 Data collected automatically

To operate, measure and improve the App, the following data is collected through the third-party services listed under “Sharing and Third Parties”:

Technical data: Anonymous installation ID, device model, OS version, app version, language, push token, crash telemetry

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. We never receive your card or bank details.

3. Why We Use Data

To provide the App’s core features and keep your progress or records.
To create and manage your account and sync your data.
To run the community features and keep them safe through moderation.
To provide and verify in-app purchases and subscriptions.
To send notifications you have enabled, such as reminders.
To find and fix crashes and improve performance.
To understand which features are used, in aggregated form.
To respond to your support requests.
To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

4. Legal Bases

We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and other applicable laws, on the following bases:

Explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a), KVKK Art. 6): for the health and pregnancy data you enter voluntarily.
Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), KVKK Art. 5(1)): for personalised advertising and, where required by law, analytics.
Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)): to deliver the features you use and any purchases you make.
Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)): security, fraud and abuse prevention, debugging and reliability.
Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c), KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç)): tax, accounting and lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers below, each under its own privacy policy and only for the stated purpose:

Google Firebase (Google LLC) — Analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration and push notifications. Privacy policy
RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) — In-app purchase and subscription validation. Privacy policy
Apple App Store (Apple Inc.) — App distribution and in-app billing on iOS. Privacy policy

Cloud hosting providers (SOC 2 compliant infrastructure providers) — Hosting the app backend (community features, support, sync). Privacy policy

Data may be processed on servers outside your country, including outside the EEA and Türkiye, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may disclose data if required by law, a court order or a binding request from a competent authority.

6. Permissions

The App asks only for the permissions its features need:

Notifications: reminders, weekly development updates and community replies
Internet: community forum, support and subscription validation

7. Security

On-device data is stored in the App’s private storage; sensitive values use platform-backed secure storage (Android KeyStore / iOS Keychain).
All network traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS.
Administrative access to backend systems is limited to authorised personnel with multi-factor authentication and least-privilege access.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

8. Retention and Deletion

Data stored on your device is deleted when you delete the related record, clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. You can also wipe everything at once inside the App (Open Koza and go to the Profile tab. Tap “Verileri Sil ve Sıfırla” (Delete & Reset Data). Type the confirmation word and confirm.) by typing “onayla”.

Data on our servers is kept for as long as your account or content exists. You can delete it inside the App or by submitting a request; verified requests are completed within 30 days.

Analytics and diagnostic data is kept by the service providers for their standard retention periods. Purchase records are kept in anonymised form for the statutory tax and accounting period.

9. Children

Koza is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it. Information about a baby that a parent records stays under that parent’s control on the device.

10. Your Rights

Under GDPR, KVKK, CCPA and other applicable laws you have the right to:

learn whether your data is processed and obtain a copy;
correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
request deletion of your data;
restrict or object to processing, including profiling;
receive your data in a portable format;
withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing;
lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Türkiye: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. The effective date and version at the top identify the current revision; material changes are announced inside the App.

1. Gizlilik İlkelerimiz

Önce cihaz. Telefonunuzda kalabilen her şey telefonunuzda kalır. Verileri yalnızca bir özellik gerçekten gerektirdiğinde sunucuya taşırız.
Kişisel veri satışı yok. Kişisel verilerinizi ve asla sağlık verilerinizi veri simsarlarına, sigortacılara veya reklam ağlarına satmayız, kiralamayız, takas etmeyiz.
Asgari veri. Yalnızca bir özelliğin ihtiyaç duyduğu veriyi toplarız ve bunu burada özellik özellik belirtiriz.
Sağlık verisi özeldir. Gebelik, üreme sağlığı ve bebek gelişimi verileri özel nitelikli kişisel veri olarak ele alınır: yalnızca açık rızanızla işlenir, asla reklam veya profilleme için kullanılmaz.

2. İşlediğimiz Veriler

3.1 Yalnızca cihazınızda saklanan veriler

Koza, temel özellikleri için hesap ya da giriş gerektirmez. Aşağıdaki veriler sizin tarafınızdan oluşturulur ve cihazınızda saklanır; sunucularımıza gönderilmez.

Profil: Ad, topluluk kullanıcı adı, rol (anne, baba, refakatçi), doğum tarihi, başlangıç kilosu
Gebelik verileri: Son adet tarihi, tahmini doğum tarihi, gebelik haftası, gebelik türü ve durumu, bebek adı/adları (özel nitelikli sağlık verisi)
Sağlık ve takip kayıtları: Su tüketimi, kilo kayıtları, tekme sayımı, kasılma süreleri, vitamin/ilaç programı, randevu notları (özel nitelikli sağlık verisi)

3.2 Sunucularımızda saklanan veriler

Aşağıdaki veriler cihazlar arası veya başka kişilerle çalışan özellikler için gereklidir ve şifreli arka ucumuzda saklanır:

Topluluk içerikleri: Forumda oluşturduğunuz gönderi, yorum, yanıt, beğeni ve bildirim kayıtları
Destek talepleri: Destek talepleri, hata bildirimleri, öneriler ve isteğe bağlı iletişim e-postası

3.3 Otomatik toplanan veriler

Uygulamayı çalıştırmak, ölçmek ve geliştirmek için aşağıdaki veriler “Paylaşım ve Üçüncü Taraflar” bölümünde listelenen üçüncü taraf hizmetler aracılığıyla toplanır:

Teknik veriler: Anonim kurulum kimliği, cihaz modeli, işletim sistemi sürümü, uygulama sürümü, dil, bildirim tokenı, çökme telemetrisi

Satın almalar Apple App Store veya Google Play Faturalandırma tarafından işlenir. Kart ya da banka bilgileriniz bize hiçbir zaman ulaşmaz.

3. Verileri Neden Kullanıyoruz

Uygulamanın temel özelliklerini sunmak ve ilerlemenizi ya da kayıtlarınızı korumak.
Hesabınızı oluşturmak, yönetmek ve verilerinizi senkronize etmek.
Topluluk özelliklerini sunmak ve moderasyonla güvende tutmak.
Uygulama içi satın almaları ve abonelikleri sunmak ve doğrulamak.
Etkinleştirdiğiniz bildirimleri (ör. hatırlatmalar) göndermek.
Çökmeleri bulup gidermek ve performansı iyileştirmek.
Hangi özelliklerin kullanıldığını toplu hâlde anlamak.
Destek taleplerinize yanıt vermek.
Yasal yükümlülüklere uymak ve uyuşmazlıkları çözmek.

4. Hukuki Sebepler

Kişisel verileri AB Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR), 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve ilgili diğer mevzuat uyarınca aşağıdaki hukuki sebeplerle işleriz:

Açık rıza (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a), KVKK m. 6): gönüllü olarak girdiğiniz sağlık ve gebelik verileri için.
Rıza (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), KVKK m. 5(1)): kişiselleştirilmiş reklam ve yasanın gerektirdiği yerlerde analitik için.
Sözleşmenin ifası (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), KVKK m. 5(2)(c)): kullandığınız özellikleri ve yaptığınız satın almaları sunmak için.
Meşru menfaat (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), KVKK m. 5(2)(f)): güvenlik, dolandırıcılık ve kötüye kullanımın önlenmesi, hata ayıklama ve güvenilirlik.
Hukuki yükümlülük (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c), KVKK m. 5(2)(ç)): vergi, muhasebe ve yetkili makamların hukuka uygun talepleri.

Kişisel verilerinizi satmayız. Veriler yalnızca aşağıdaki hizmet sağlayıcılarla, her biri kendi gizlilik politikası altında ve belirtilen amaçla sınırlı olarak paylaşılır:

Veriler, standart sözleşme hükümleri gibi uygun güvencelerle AEA ve Türkiye dışı dâhil olmak üzere ülkeniz dışındaki sunucularda işlenebilir. Yasa, mahkeme kararı veya yetkili makamın bağlayıcı talebi gerektirdiğinde veri açıklayabiliriz.

6. İzinler

Uygulama yalnızca özelliklerinin gerektirdiği izinleri ister:

Bildirimler: hatırlatmalar, haftalık gelişim bilgileri ve topluluk yanıtları
İnternet: topluluk forumu, destek ve abonelik doğrulama

7. Güvenlik

Cihaz üzerindeki veriler Uygulamanın özel alanında tutulur; hassas değerler platform destekli güvenli depolama (Android KeyStore / iOS Keychain) kullanır.
Tüm ağ trafiği HTTPS/TLS ile aktarım sırasında şifrelenir.
Arka uç sistemlere yönetici erişimi, çok faktörlü kimlik doğrulama ve en az yetki ilkesiyle yetkili personelle sınırlıdır.
Hiçbir aktarım veya depolama yöntemi %100 güvenli değildir; yasanın gerektirdiği durumlarda bir ihlali size ve yetkili makamlara bildiririz.

8. Saklama ve Silme

Cihazınızda saklanan veriler; ilgili kaydı sildiğinizde, Uygulamanın verilerini temizlediğinizde veya Uygulamayı kaldırdığınızda silinir. Ayrıca Uygulama içinden tek seferde her şeyi silebilirsiniz (Koza uygulamasını açın ve Profil sekmesine gidin. “Verileri Sil ve Sıfırla” seçeneğine dokunun. İstenen onay kelimesini yazıp işlemi onaylayın.) — onay kelimesi “onayla”.

Sunucularımızdaki veriler hesabınız veya içeriğiniz var olduğu sürece saklanır. Bunları Uygulama içinden veya talep göndererek sildirebilirsiniz; doğrulanan talepler 30 gün içinde tamamlanır.

Analitik ve tanılama verileri, hizmet sağlayıcılar tarafından standart saklama süreleri boyunca tutulur. Satın alma kayıtları vergi ve muhasebe mevzuatı gereği kanuni süre boyunca anonim olarak saklanır.

9. Çocuklar

Koza, 18 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir. Çocuklardan bilerek kişisel veri toplamayız. Bir çocuğun bize kişisel veri sağladığını düşünüyorsanız bizimle iletişime geçin; verileri sileriz. Ebeveynin kaydettiği bebek bilgileri cihazda ebeveynin kontrolünde kalır.

10. Haklarınız

GDPR, KVKK, CCPA ve ilgili diğer mevzuat uyarınca şu haklara sahipsiniz:

verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenmek ve bir kopyasını almak;
eksik veya yanlış verilerin düzeltilmesini istemek;
verilerinizin silinmesini istemek;
profilleme dâhil işlemeyi kısıtlamak veya işlemeye itiraz etmek;
verilerinizi taşınabilir bir biçimde almak;
önceki işlemeyi etkilemeksizin rızanızı istediğiniz zaman geri almak;
denetim makamına şikâyette bulunmak (Türkiye’de: Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
