Nausea may peak for some people between weeks 8 and 10. Excess saliva, heartburn, or food aversions can appear. Clothes may feel tight from bloating rather than a growing uterus.
Tips for this week
Eat what stays down, then widen variety when you can. Ginger or acupressure bands help some people; evidence is mixed. Teratogen caution is highest now — confirm any workplace chemicals, X-rays, or new prescriptions. Contact care for bleeding heavier than a spot or severe pain.
