Paddle-like hands and feet appear; digits are not separate yet. The liver is prominent, and the intestine is growing. A tail-like caudal end is still visible and will recede. Average crown–rump length is near 1 cm.
What changes in your body at 7 weeks?
Frequent urination, metallic taste, and constipation can start as progesterone slows the gut. The uterus is still within the pelvis, so a bump is uncommon. Emotions can feel louder than usual.
Tips for this week
Fiber, water, and gentle walking may ease constipation; ask before using laxatives. Rest is productive, not lazy. If vomiting is constant or you have pain when you pee, contact care. Keep listing every tablet and tea for your first prenatal visit.
